Summary
Princess Turandot is the cynosure of the Chinese Empire, and she knows it. Thus, she states she’ll only marry a man of royal blood who solves her three riddles, on pain of death for failing. After a few princes meet their unfortunate end by taking the challenge, enter Prince Calaf, who’s instantly besotted, and who vows to finally defeat the cold princess and win her heart.A reimagining of Giacomo Puccini’s opera, “Turandot”.(We know that “nessun dorma” translates as “let no one sleep”, but the way the author mistranslated the title in Korean is a common mistake.)
